Seffner (Fla.) Armwood kicker Sterling Hofrichter committed to Syracuse’s Class of 2015 on Friday, he announced on Twitter.

Hofrichter is the only kicker Syracuse has offered and he visited the school a month ago, according to Scout.com. Syracuse was also the only school that he received an offer from, according to Scout.com

Hofrcher is a two-star recruit is listed at 5-feet, 10-inches and 165 pounds on his Scout.com profile. 

He joins junior Ryan Norton and returning fifth-year senior kicker Ross Krautman, who missed the majority of last season due to a hip-related injury. He is also the 16th member of the Class of 2015 and the sixth from Florida.
