Carrier Dome

The Carrier Dome, which opened in 1980, is home to five of Syracuse’s sports (football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse) and is located to the southwest of Hendrick’s Chapel and the Physics Building. Nicknamed the “Loud House,” the Dome holds an on-campus attendance record of 35,446 for a men’s basketball game. Student season-ticket holders must enter through Gate E (gate nearest the Quad) despite the student section being located on the opposite side of the stadium.

Women’s Building

The Women’s Building is a multi-use facility at the edge of main campus off Comstock Avenue. It’s main gym is home to the Orange volleyball team. Fans can sit on pull-out bleachers to the side of the court or in a small balcony overlooking the court. To get there from main campus you can walk or get off at the first bus stop on any bus heading toward South Campus.

SU Soccer Stadium

SU Soccer Stadium sits on the corner of East Colvin Street and Skytop Road, near Ensley Athletic Center and Manley South. It hosts men’s and women’s soccer games. To get there from Main Campus, you can take a South Campus bus.

J.S. Coyne Stadium

J.S. Coyne Stadium is between Ensley Athletic Center and Manley Field House Arena, near the back of the Manley South parking lot. The field hockey team practices and plays at Coyne, which received a new turf this summer. To get to Coyne from Main Campus, you can take a South Campus bus.

Tennity Ice Pavilion

Tennity Ice Pavilion sits on Skytop Road on South Campus past the student apartments. It is operated by Recreation Services, but houses the women’s ice hockey team. It features the main rink, which the team plays on and shares with the community, and a small studio rink. The bus stop outside Tennity is accessible by the South Campus and Manley routes.

SU Softball Stadium

Nestled next to Tennity Ice Pavilion and just off of Skytop Road on South Campus, SU Softball Stadium is home to Syracuse’s softball team. The bleacher seating behind home plate and the first and third base lines has a maximum capacity of 650. The bus stop nearest SU Softball Stadium is accessible by the South Campus and Manley routes.
