A poem: Is Mexico going to pay us back?
The very next day
Donald was going to Mexico
Would he talk about that wall?
Oh, you better believe so.
“You’re going to pay for that wall,”
Is what Trump would proclaim,
President Nieto would accept defeat.
He couldn’t compete with Trump’s A-game.
Trump would use his tactics
In the Art of the Deal
Unlike crooked Hillary,
His results would be real.
The crowds would cheer.
They’d say “BUILD. THAT. WALL.”
They’re bringing drugs, crime, rape, and some — we assume — good people.
The Mexicans would want to keep them all.
The day before Donald’s big trip
He laid with Melania in bed.
He let visions of the big beautiful wall
Play in his sleepy head.
Finally, when Trump arrived
On the very next day.
He tried to negotiate the wall,
But had nothing to say.
“We’ll talk about the wall
At some later time.”
Trumps whole plan,
Had been stopped on a hundred dollar bill — he doesn’t use dimes.
Why had this happened?
He had promised a wall.
It looked like Trump’s empire
Was surely going to fall.
How would he build the wall?
Would he have to pay for it himself?
The Mexicans didn’t want to do it,
And he surely couldn’t use elves.
The Donald had been Trumped
How could this happen?
He couldn’t just sit back
He needed to take action.
What good old Donnie Trump did?
Maybe we’ll find out next time.
When the Republican nominee
Finds out, that Mexicans can climb.
