Looking to go out this weekend? Syracuse has a variety of things going on, from 1930s jazz to country hits and two new types of beer. Pulp has the details.
Event: DWC Visiting Author Readings: Author Jaimee Wriston Colbert

Jaimee Wriston Colbert is the author of five books including: Wild Things, Shark Girls, Dream Lives of Butterflies, and Climbing the God Tree. A creative writing professor at Binghamton University, she will discuss her work.
Event: Aztec Two Step

When: Friday, 8-10 p.m.
Folk/rock duo Aztec Two Step, Alex Fowler and Neal Shulman, will perform their own originals as well as tributes to Simon & Garfunkel and The Everly Brothers. With more than four decades of touring, this will definitely a must-see for folk enthusiasts.
