Goodnight Cuse, a poem from a senior leaving the Hill
Audra Linsner | Staff Illustrator
In the great Carrier Dome
There was a campus
Where drunk kids roam
And for them all —
It’s the place they call home.
And there were freshmen in line for DJ’s.
And empty Calios boxes
And Pete Sala emails in inboxes
And a Schine Student Center
And a really cold winter
And someone playing the alma mater on the bells of Crouse
And a Newhouse, and another Newhouse and another Newhouse
Goodnight Kent
Goodnight Venmos I sent
Goodnight to all the bars I went
Goodnight Bird
And to my horrible grade percent.
Goodnight Ernie
Goodnight fans of Bernie
Goodnight Dungey
Goodnight 70 Gs (a year)
Goodnight Castle
And goodnight Listserv hassles
Goodnight Mount
Goodnight student discount
Goodnight Jimmy B
Goodnight beer that tastes like pee.
Goodnight Varsity
Goodnight Dino
Goodnight Pastabilities
Goodnight snow
And always having a place to go.
Goodnight friends
Goodnight Otto
Goodnight Cuse, I have to go
