Former Syracuse goalkeeper Lysianne Proulx signed with Juventus FC Monday. Proulx’s former club, Bay FC, agreed to transfer her to the Italian-based club. According to a press release from Bay FC, Proulx informed the club that she wanted to explore opportunities abroad.

Proulx played at SU from 2017-2021, notching 281 saves in 52 games, which ranks as the fourth-most in program history. She is also third in saves per game (5.30) and seventh in shutouts (eight).

After finishing her collegiate career, Proulx began playing professionally, starting at Torreense in Portugal in July 2022. Following 18 appearances for Torreense, she moved to Melbourne FC in Australia’s A-League a year later. At Melbourne, Proulx dominated, tallying 50 saves in 14 starts. She then joined National Women’s Soccer League expansion side Bay FC in February, only appearing in six games, recording 26 saves.

In addition, Proulx has accumulated plenty of international experience, representing the Canadian National Team. In 2022, she earned a silver medal at the CONCACAF Women’s Championship, which qualified Canada for the 2023 World Cup. She was also named to Canada’s 2024 Olympic roster as an alternate.
