Hansen Peck, a five-star, left-handed attack from Schuylerville, New York, has committed to Syracuse men’s lacrosse, he announced in an Instagram post Thursday morning.
Peck is currently a junior at Lawrenceville High School (New Jersey), where he scored 57 goals and 23 assists as a sophomore in his first season with the Big Red. Lawrenceville went 20-1 in 2024.
He plays club lacrosse for Team 91 Lacrosse in Long Island, the same club as SU juniors Joey Spallina and Michael Leo. The Lawrenceville junior is the No. 15 player in the 2026 class, according to Inside Lacrosse, and also had offers from top programs like Virginia, Penn State, Maryland and Notre Dame.
Peck joins four-stars Nick Rayfield and Jayden Rodriguez as the first recruits in the 2026 class to commit to Gary Gait and the Orange. Rodriguez and Rayfield committed on Sept. 6 and 9, respectively.
