Four-star defensive back Kaylib Singleton announced his commitment to Syracuse on social media Monday evening. Singleton, an Orange Park, Florida native, chose the Orange over offers from LSU, Florida, Iowa, Michigan and Indiana.

The 6-foot-1 defensive back was committed to Rutgers but decommitted on Oct. 21. He officially visited Syracuse this past weekend for its win over UConn. Singleton is a senior at Oakleaf High School (Fla.) and played both sides of the ball in his senior year as a wide receiver and defensive back.

Singleton becomes the 32nd commit to Syracuse’s 2025 recruiting class. The Orange currently possesses the 37th-best class in the nation according to 247Sports and the seventh-best in the Atlantic Coast Conference. He adds to the recent Florida recruiting run for Fran Brown Co. following Deangelo Thompson Jr.’s commitment earlier Monday.
