Han Kang — Nobel Prize Winner Roundtable
Celebrating Korean Nobel Prize winner Han Kang, students are invited to talk about the significance of her award and career. The roundtable will discuss her books, “Human Acts,” “The Vegetarian” and “Greek Lessons.” If you have already read them, this event is perfect for you as it will inspire more meaningful conversations.

Indigenous Friendsgiving
Before celebrating Thanksgiving, take a moment to decolonize the holiday at Indigenous Friendsgiving. Traditional Indigenous food will be served, and students are encouraged to bring their own dishes to add to the discussion. This event is in collaboration with the Barner-McDuffie House.
When: Tuesday from 5:30-7 p.m.

American Red Cross Blood Drive
The Center for Policy Research and the Pre PA Club will host the American Red Cross Blood Drive Wednesday. The Red Cross blood supply fell 25% in July, so donations of any kind are encouraged. By donating, students can alleviate the shortage. Register for the blood drive here.

Orange After Dark: Video Game Tournament
Orange After Dark is hosting a video game tournament — the ultimate student esports experience. Compete in all things esports and video games with friends. An RSVP and a valid Syracuse University I.D. are required to attend.
When: Thursday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: Schine Student Center, The Underground

Full Moon Ceremony
The Barnes Center at The Arch is hosting its monthly Full Moon Ceremony. The event serves as a time to connect with the moon’s energy and celebrate life. Gather on blankets and join other students to thank Grandmother Moon for all that she does. Engage in collective thanks, prayers and greetings. Remember community and loved ones as you sing a woman’s song, a lunar mantra in honor of Grandmother Moon. Small hand drums and rattles are encouraged to bring.
When: Friday from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
