Two incoming freshmen not enrolled for Syracuse summer program

Two players in Syracuse’s incoming freshman class have not enrolled at SU for the schools’s “Summer Start” program, according to an article published by The Post-Standard Tuesday.

Defensive end Myles Hilliard and running back George Morris are both included on the SU roster, but neither are listed in the SU student directory.

Hilliard is expected to attend Milford Academy in the fall before going to SU in January, according to the article. Milford head coach Bill Chaplick said Hilliard is not enrolled at the school, but he will be visiting the Milford this weekend. The 6-foot-6, 258-pound defensive end from Bedford, Ohio, was rated a three-star recruit by Scout.com.

It wasn’t clear if Morris would join the team at the Summer Start program or in August due to issues with his high school requirements, according to the article.

Morris, from Lawrenceville, Ga., was also rated as a three-star recuit by Scout.com.

Iowa transfer John Raymon is enrolled at SU, according to the article.
